It isn't always just cats that we rescue.
Sometimes, it's a puppy like Nera. Terrified out of her mind, she had crawled inside the feeding drawer of one of our cat feeding stations and was whimpering terribly until we finally found her.
We took her to the vet, placed her with a friend—and today, she has found a wonderful forever home.
All of this takes time and money, too. Honestly, it's a full-time job.
